very clean
Sorry! 5 stars for my last visit! Since then there have been changes in the management! Level is still good! Test yourself and form your own opinion! Can't be a mistake!
Were there for two at 4pm, so there was little going on. The food was very good and very quick. I found the service staff to be friendly and nice. One of the few restaurants that are always open. We will definitely go again.
Nice, cozy restaurant, some with vaults. The steaks 🥩 had a fillet of angus which was delicious. There are also wines from local winegrowers, I recommend the semi-dry rosé from the Spurzem winery. The service is friendly and courteous. I will gladly come again. 😁
Were eating there today with 5 people and child. Very nice place, a very friendly service and delicious food. The dishes are in a higher price range but also large portions. We will definitely be back. :)
Good.
Nice location. Coffee Quality can be improved, but friendly service.
Good Restaurant
Slow
Very, attentive service. Super seats, huge comfortable chairs, rather armchairs. Food was served very fast. Top for a saturday night. We liked it. Will go there again.
Food was terrible. The burger I had tasted was bad(might have come out of the freezer) and the way it looked on the plate was without care. Schnitzel and fries weren't great either. Staff was nice, but a bit stiff. Definitely not a great experience
Beautiful
We arrived in the evening around 20:40 clock in Koblenz. During our visit to the restaurant it was about 21.15 clock. Nevertheless, we were very friendly reception and also got our wish dish. If you look at the price, you may have to take a quick sip, but with the portions it is quite appropriate. We like to come back from the Ruhr area.
The service was bad
Good food and friendly service!!!
Nice restaurant right on the Moselle
Average but tasty food, 4 stars for the price and the amount of meat witch was satisfying.
Really disappointed meat was cold and more than half of that was bone
Good German food. Unfortunately noisy in the room if the guests are not careful to talk quietly (it sounds terrible). Very nice service, but should be better organized (several times drinks at the wrong table, several times asked for order, very long waited for billing - was not disclosed that we wanted to pay ...)
Nice place and a rustic and varied kitchen
Little inspiration when it comes to the Flamkuchen, for 10 euros you get what is listed. Oh and Pepperoni is not spicy salami in German, but preserved jalapeño peppers.
Good food
If you like history, you will like this place. Great views over the Rhine too. Worth the effort
Great place to visit.
The location of the German Emperor on the Mosel offers a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, this is a bit clouded, since the service sometimes quite rugged. As Franke you can not necessarily imagine something under the "Koblenzer Döppekooche". Nevertheless, I wanted to try it and asked when ordering what you can recommend to this dish as a side dish (which you must order in the food) in addition to a side salad. The service seemed very annoyed at her answer and I had the feeling that she did not feel my question meant. She then said that they are already potatoes and what else do I want to have? Did you then make it clear that I was not exactly clear what this food is about. We also left it that way. Even with special requests when ordering was very inflexible. A chanterelle dish has been excellent as a vegetarian dish. Unfortunately, the chanterelles were cooked with bacon and we asked if you could omit the bacon. Unfortunately, this was not possible ... The prices seem cheap at first, but if you realize that the side dishes such. B. fried potatoes and / or sauerkraut to the hocke, with added order, it does not look like that anymore. The Koblenz Döppekooche was good. The portioning was fine too. The baked vegetable dumplings tasted lazy and could have tolerated a little more spices.
Nice atmosphere x good food
It wss really a nice place
Food was delicious, especially. the potatoes. The location is perfect, it could not be better (if you like to sit outside on the water) Prices are OK. The big flaw here is the service that hapers. Sauce was served over the fish, although I wanted it separately on the side since I ate it with the potatoes. Food has taken too long to feel. (50 min since order without starter) A waitress was really often / several times aimlessly around and asked at the tables, who would have ordered this food. (Neighboring table has received main appetizer and other stuff, then received compensation at the end) We have been here since the "reopening", but at least half a year ago, since it ran similarly.
Nice
Overall, we were very satisfied. Very friendly staff and good service. The very extensive map of all areas has deterred me then. In general, one can say that if a card really offers everything, then the goods or kitchen does not fit. That was not the case here. Both the main course and dessert were very successful and we were really surprised. The pike-perch fillet was unfortunately frozen food, but with a map of course you can not have the goods fresh locally. The potatoes, however, were from the new harvest, very fresh and perfectly prepared. The salad was crisp and fresh and very tasty. Unfortunately, the terrace on the street, but a little raised and with a phenomenal view of the Moselle and the fortress Ehrenbreitstein. From the decor and design very well done. The staff is on the whole good. Unfortunately one notices the skilled worker - lack of staff in Germany and there are a few temporary helpers who are not so keen on it. But they are very hard. Conclusion: highly recommended!
The food was good. The service was nice. Prices ok and the building very nice
A very good place
Well worth a visit
Fine and tasty. Staff very nice.
Super tasty! Price / Quality is excellent. If you pick the not tourist dishes it is almost fancy and great food for a reasonable price. Totally recommend it . Just don’t pick the average dishes! Service was friendly, professional and on point.
The food is really local and kind of fancy. Definitely recommend for tourist to try it out. The classic German dishes are all present there and it tastes great overall.
Very nice and cozy restaurant with attentive staff. We are happy to be here.
Friendly service, delicious coffee. Gladly again!
Ok restaurant.
The old walls really make something. Very quaint and winding. It was also, through some celebrations, quite crowded and therefore was very busy. I was here at a Christmas party with a pre-ordered 3-course menu. As a starter there was a carrot and ginger soup. The soup was ok in taste but unfortunately very carelessly done. The main course was also more shadow than light. The beef roulade was ok, but the pea and carrot vegetables were canned. Even the watery rosemary potatoes tasted good, but not rosemary or potatoes. The apple strudel for dessert was not my case, he had a very funny, burnt (?) Taste. The service was nice and friendly, but apparently very overwhelmed with the amount of guests, various drinks were not or only after a request. The only positive were the cocktails. All in all, I was very disappointed with the mediocre food.
The waitress were good and fast , not that much expensive for the quality of the food
Ok
Worst Schnitzel we ever had. The cook doesn’t realize it should be fried in butter not cooked in the oven. Excessively dry; good workout for your jaws. Ditto for the French fries. Big disappointment since it was recommended by a local we met yesterday.
Once everything is perfect - once mediocre Great view of the Moselle from the beer garden. Inside is a cozy restaurant. The service is friendly and attentive. On the first visit we had game roulade with side dishes and apple leek ragout with hash browns (even vegan without Gorgonzola), both really great dishes. On the second visit there was tarte flambée, ordered was Alsatian style, it was delivered with chanterelles. The second dish, tagliatelle with chanterelles, tasted bland, and it was the wrong tagliatelle (none with rocket and cherry tomatoes). Only the mixed salad with chanterelles was delivered correctly. The first visit deserves 5 stars, the second only 2-3. Because of the great beer garden there are a total of 4 stars.
Ok
The food is tasty. The menu in german only, the waiteres dont want to explain or recommaned. A bit expansive
Very delicious varied food. Good price performance ratio. Great ambience with a great view of the Moselle. Modern and very well maintained.
Below average food, pitiful service and the views, the classic tourist trap, are also below average the food quantity doesn't surpass a kids menu, specifically the pasta, overall bad
Good
good coffee, friendly staff
